Forget everything you have learned
And let go of your worries.
There’s so much more
Than you could ever imagine, darling.
Just fall in, oh let’s begin
To take that long and winding road before us.
The world is waiting,
For you to fall in love with her again.
Give me just
Just just a little bit,
Give me just
Just just a little bit,
Give me just a little bit of your time.

Who Loves You Now?
03:40
|
|||
Take it from me,
I’ve never been one to settle for second best
And I'm not even close yet.
I have to repeat myself to everyone, everywhere I go,
And I'm so sick of talking...
Of talking about absolutely nothing at all.
I loved you, who loves you now?
And does he chase away the clouds?
I loved you, who loves you now?
And does your heart beat twice as loud?
I loved you, who loves you now?
And does he chase away the clouds?
I loved you. I loved you.
I will restart my heart somehow.
Take it from me,
This isn't where I thought I'd be five years ago and I think I'm doing okay.
I think that I'm better off than I ever was in your hands.
I used to get so lost in those eyes.
But I started drawing...
I started drawing maps to find my way back home.
I loved you, who loves you now?
And does he chase away the clouds?
I loved you, who loves you now?
And does your heart beat twice as loud?
I loved you, who loves you now?
And does he chase away the clouds?
I loved you. I loved you.
I will restart my heart.
It doesn't matter anyway
It doesn't matter anyway
I put mementos in a box,
Remembering the late night talk,
I think I'll bury it here, forever.

Slowly and Steadily
03:46
|
|||
For what it's worth I've been breaking old habits,
Slowly and steadily.
I strive to bring the young me back to life,
The boy that was drowning in my
Lack of faith that life could be okay.
Identity erased, I'll find a better way.
I think it's time I made a change
(I think it's time I made a change),
‘Cause I've been feeling awfully strange (awfully strange).
Take everything for granted long enough and you'll find out
That everything that you believe will fade away.
This is my life, it's time I start living.
When the sun comes around, I feel a bit different,
The days aren't a total drag.
I take my time and take it easy, while always pushing myself
To be a better man, to have a steady hand.
I was always overthinking and my confidence was shrinking.
I think it's time I made a change (I think it's time I made a change),
I was driving in the opposite lane (and I was headed for a crash).
Take everything for granted long enough and you'll find out
That everything that you believe will fade away.
This is my life, it's time I start living.
And I'm not saying you have to be a saint,
You just have to be okay with yourself,
And the choices that you make
Take better care of those around you,
Be aware and let them ground you.
Surround yourself with better times
And find a way to make the grind,
Less taxing because
We all should be relaxing.

I picked myself up off the ground,
dusted the dirt off all my clothes.
I fell so hard it left me lying there
in such a slow repose,
I guess that's just how it goes.
I bit my lip and walked away.
I'll live to love another day.
My mouth was full of words to say
but they meant nothing anyway.
How did I end up this way?
So, I stare myself straight in the mirror and ask, “What am I still doing here?"And he says,
"Don't act so stranded. You always look so awfully abandoned you've got, more love in you than anyone
you'll ever know or ever knew, so just be you."
I took a hike into the wild and cleared my head with mountain air,
If I can make it to the top then I can make it anywhere.
But does anyone else care?
I shake the weakness from my chest and look around at what I see, There’s nothing out here but the whole entire world in front of me.
And now I see, this is how it will always be.
So, I stare myself straight in the mirror and ask, “What am I still doing here?"And he says,
"Don't act so stranded. You always look so awfully abandoned you've got, more love in you than anyone
you'll ever know or ever knew, so just be you."
And if you still feel all alone,
Wrapped up in bed and stuck at home,
You might as well pick up the phone.
A million people on the line,
And they’ll all say you'll be just fine.
You have to stop and take the time to know yourself
and stop pretending to be somebody else.
